Another Time, Another Place

Another Time, Another Place directed by Michael Radford

Starring Phyllis Logan, Giovanni Mauriello, Denise Coffey, Tom Watson & Gregor Fisher.

Produced by Simon Perry.

Set in 1944, three Italian prisoners of war arrive in a small isolated Scottish community to help with the farming of the land. Ignored by the locals, worried about their families back home and miserable in the alien climate, they are eventually shown compassion by a cattleman's wife (Phyllis Logan). The film explores what happens to a repressed community when people of a different culture are forced to live and work among them.

Michael Radford's 1996 Oscar nomination for Best Director and Best Screenplay for his film Il Postino firmly established him as one of the most important British film directors of his generation.

Running time 92 minutes.

Available on video (VHS/NTSC and VHS/PAL) at $US25.50 or £11.99, including postage and packing. To order see below.
