Anthony Hopkins. A graduate of RADA Matthews credits include Whatever
Happened To Harold Smith?, directed by Peter Hewitt; The Testimony
Of Taliesin Jones, directed Jonathan Price; Very Annie Mary – directed
by Sara Sugarman; The Graduate, at the Gielgud Theatre (starring
Kathleen Turner); Lost World, BBC; Deathwatch; The Associate, directed
by Paul Miller and most recently playing Romeo for the Royal Shakespeare
Companies production of Romeo And Juliet, directed by Peter Gill.
Eve Evans – Kate Ashfield
Currently
known to everyone as Simon Pegg’s girlfriend in
Shaun of the Dead. Kate is one of the UK’s foremost leading
ladies. She first garned attention in Tim Roth’s The War Zone.
In 2001 she won the coveted Best Actress award at the British Independent
Film Awards for her role in Late Night Shopping. Other credits include:
The Low Down, directed by Jamie Thraves; Christie Malry’s Own
Double Entry, directed by Simon Bent; Pure, directed by Gines MacKinnon;
Beyond Borders, directed by Martin Campbell; and This Little Life,

Tony Evans – Tom Chambers
A
graduate from Guildford School of Acting, Fakers is Tom Chambers
screen debut. After graduating drama school Tom joined the Derby
Repertory
Theatre Company performing Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth and Cyrano
de Bergerac. He then came to London to play Benedict in The Rover
at the Young Vic Studio. It was playing Mason in the 1st World War
trenches play Journey’s End that Tom first met Fakers director
Richard Janes. Tom is keen for everyone to know he put on two stones
to play Tony and is not really that simple!
Phil Norris – Tony Haygarth
Tony
Haygarth’s prolific career spans theatre, television and feature
films. He Is probably most well known for his role in the hit television
series Where The Heart is. His other television credits include:
Sharpe's Justice, Sharpe's Enemy, Our Friends in the North, Two Gentlemen
of Verona, Ivanhoe, Claudius and Hornblower. In theatre he has been
nominated for an Olivier Award for both Twelve Angry Men and The
Tempest, and has won the Clarence Derwent Award for Simpatico. You
may also recognise his voice as Mr Tweedy from the hugely successful
Chicken Run.
Foster Wright – Art Malik
Art
Malik is an award-winning actor with an outstanding career in theatre,
television
and feature films. His feature film credits include: True Lies, Bond
Living Day Lights, A Passage to India and Side Streets.
In television
Art’s credits include his current run in Holby City, Messiah
and of course Jewel In the Crown.
Sylvia Create – Rula Lenska
Rula’s
first major television role was as Q in Rock Follies, which became
a major cult hit, recently released on video and DVD. Her television
credits include Boon, Minder, Kappatoo II, Cluedo, An Actors Life
For, Stay Lucky, The Detectives and One Foot in the Grave, A Design
for Living and Watching Me Watching You, The Saint, Private Schultz,
The Miser, Take A Letter Mr Jones, Morgan of Ravenscar, Conversations
With A Stranger and Eastenders. Rula made her film debut in Soft
Beds. Further film credits include Hard Battles, Alfie Darling and
Paradise Grove.
